Deborah A. Jones
Deborah A. Jones (also known as the Director of Happiness) was the Featured Speaker on May 1, 2007, and she "blessed the socks off" the group. She brought video and DVD clips from the local news channels featuring her. It was so moving how God brought her from under the bridge to being a bridge for people. She's so open and genuine...I have found a new friend!! And she gives God all the glory for where she is today. I'll tell some her story below but you really need to buy her book (listed below).

Her story, taken from the foreword of her book, From the Guttermost...To the Uttermost:
"From the Guttermost...To the Uttermost" is a story about hope, faith, and the personal intimate relationship one person can have with our Almighty God.
While God is the Master of the universe and keeps everything in balance, He also is an intimate being who will take the time to develop a special relationship with anyone who needs and especially wants that relationship.
As the book opens, Deborah is clearly a lost soul at the very bottom of humanity's chain. Her early life struggles are described and the effect of these events is clearly what has driven her to the low state of existence. She lived on the streets of Dayton, Ohio, slept in the gutters of back streets, survived on cheap wine, begged food, and borrowed warmth with other similarly discarded individuals. Deborah had no expectation of help or sense of hope. But, of course, when all hope is gone is when God starts to act. God took a special notice of her through a group of people who cared about those who no one else wanted and society had cast aside and given up on.
Her early walk with God was anything but perfect. Her many missteps and trips back to her former life provided numerous opportunities for God to perform miracle after miracle in her daily activities. These miracles not only affected Deborah but everyone connected with her as they watched her life transformed by God's saving grace.
The later chapters chronicle the continued blessings and miraculous interventions of her loving God on her behalf. Best of all this book describes how God can transform one particular life in nearly an instant in time from total devastation to become the "Director of Happiness".

"Well now (smile).......Thank the "LORD" for C.P.N. (Christian Professional Network). Oh my what a blessing It's been to me personally and professionally. You see I am "The Director of Happiness for Dr. Byron Scott of Springhill Dental Health Center. That means make the patient's happy and comfortable. It also entails Public Relations which I am good at because I am a people person (smile). I am also Ms happiness on 95 KSJ. But.............Here is the thing.....Only the joy of the 'Lord' can bring real Happiness and C.P.N. members know that. I have been to all kinds of networking groups but I tell you that their are none like this one because It' meeting foundation is PUTTING GOD FIRST. BABY that alone will put you on the winning side every time. (smile)
I am also thankful for Claudia Givens, the C.P.N. leader who has followed the leading of the Holy Spirit and is committed to the Lord Jesus She has a great vision for connecting business people and community leaders with relevant training, support, mentoring and encouragement. I have had the grand opporitunity to be on T.V. with Claudia to talk about C.P.N. and to give God the total GLORY for letting us do the work with honor, integrity and care for the people we serve.
Thank you C.P.N. for teaching real Christian work ethics when sometimes the WORLD is using backstabbing, unethical, immoral, unthankful ways to get ahead when it really is about Jesus who puteth down one and raises up another at his will. Nothing just happens. Promotion does not come from the East or the West. It comes from God. C.P.N. can surely help reach goals because it is already based on putting GOD FIRST. So then the group becomes servants of one another while being EXCELLENT in the practice of Business."
